To be honest it's probably more of a 'I'm going to buy this the first day I can' v. 'I'll buy it when I'm low on books to read'. Going to the top of the list for sure.

i successfully waited for "the only rule is it has to work" to go on sale on kindle for like $2 or something after i saw that happen with passan's book last year (which i didn't get)...it took months tho. i might not be willing to do that with this one.

I could honestly read stories about the playoffs all day and never get sick of it.

Seriously, I start reading or watching stuff and it all starts coming back to me and I start to get that pure joy feeling again as if we just won 20 mins ago.

That was great, but that whole bit where is Dad was like "This isn't child abuse..." and then proceeded to tell a story of how he Happy Gilmore'd his child with the pitching machine sure seemed child abusey.

But I don't really care. He's a world champion, so... well played, Papa Rizzo.

Yeah, anytime someone tells you "this isn't X" before telling you a story, you can be sure af that it is absolutely X.

The little puff piece with Rizzo on Baseball tonight before the home opener was actually really good. Seems like such a good guy with all of his charity work and foundations he sponsors.

On a side note, it was very cool when Rizzo was playing the piano and started playing the theme song to the HBO show "The Leftovers". I'm 90% sure that's what he was playing. I freakin' love that show.

Terrible shw, but Rizzo mustve meant the Cubs will pelt people like villians with dongs/rocks in a very violent manner

I thought he was playing Coldplay

a) it was Coldplay

2) the leftovers is awesome

Ahhh your're right that was Coldplay, "The Scientist". I knew it sounded familiar. It has hints of the "The Leftovers" though. This what I thought it was at first.

Good to see someone else agrees that "The Leftovers" is awesome, final season starts this Sunday! Thought that was kind of obscure for Riz to be playing the "The Leftovers", wishful thinking.
