Rizzo currently has a .194 batting average and an .867 OPS. He has an OPS+ of 131 while suffering with a BABIP of .133. This dude is an unstoppable menace, even when the baseball gods are doing everything they can to stop him.

we're gonna have to Wait Til The Water Runs Dry for him to dong again

guess we're in the horsefeathering desert now

Damn, he can do better than that

Well, now we have the second best reason to lock this thread.

His tiny-face is off set by her mega-face

she goes to ASU so i'm guessing he met her in ST

isn't meeting a professional athlete a major at ASU?

If it was, one would think they could improve their sports teams to produce lots of professional athletes every year, instead of just having good baseball players.

i think he's been the best hitter in baseball so far; the players who've outperformed him so far have had crazy amounts of good fortune, which is of course normal for a monthly sample leaderboard

Daniel Murphy (.471 wOBA): .110 above career BABIP

Aledmys Diaz (.462): [self-explanatory]

Manny Machado (.457): .070 above career BABIP, 10% over his career HR/FB rate

Dexter Fowler (.452): .080 above career BABIP

Ryan Braun (.441): .070 above career BABIP

Jose Altuve (.439): 21%! over his career HR/FB rate

and Rizzo (.434): .060 below career BABIP, 7% over his career HR/FB rate (still just 22nd-highest in MLB)

also perhaps it's worth noting if Grichuk doesn't rob his HR, he's currently at .271/.412/.677 (.437 wOBA)

He's continuing his assault on the strike zone this season by walking 22 times and only striking out 18 times. Imagine if we had signed Pujols or Fielder lol
