Full roster of callups for Sept WCQ:

GK: Horvath, Steffen, Turner

D: Bello, Brooks, Dest, McKenzie, Ream, A. Robinson, M. Robinson, Sands, Yedlin, Zimmerman

M: Acosta, Adams, Lletget, McKennie, Roldan

F: Aaronson, Konrad, Pefok, Pepi, Pulisic, Reyna, Sargent, Weah

No real headscratchers, surprised a bit Cannon isn't among the huge parade of defenders, but hoping these guys can get a couple wins here over the next two weeks.

Who is Pefot? Weah is an interesting one.

Typo, meant Pefok, which Siebatcheu goes by and wears on his jersey.

As a Bruges fan, I'm not happy with this draw - about as tough as it could possibly get.

This is a sick roster. 9 points.

i want to see this horsefeathers fully operational. what's really exciting is thinking about how many players on this roster have really appeared in the last two years. A good WCQ, a good world cup performance, four more years of growth of soccer in the US ahead of WC26 ... horsefeathers could be crazy by then

We’re finally good enough for actual roster debate and hot takes like maybe Brendan Aaronson will be the best player in two years

It’s so much fun, mine is that Weah is the answer to “what if Zardes had Champions League pedigree” and we should be playing him at the 9

He’s not going to help with this draw, but I really like the Canadian bruges just signed, Tajon Buchanan. He’s still raw and has a ton of room for refinement and growth, but he’s extremely fast, athletic, strong, and is capable of some game breaking creativity. High upside if he transitions well and the club develops him right.

It's amazing to me that in 4 years we've gone from "Is Wondo really our best attacking option?" to "Which of the 5 Champions league attackers on the roster should we use?"

So basically he gets adjusted after the winter break, has a great 2022-2023 season and then moves to a big league like his predecessors (Perisic, Bacca, Izquierdo, Wesley Moraes, ...)

Not so sure. He’s still raw technically and tactically. More like the typical young North American prospects of a few years ago. I think Belgium could be a long-term spot for him like Andy Najar & Sacha kljestan. Either way, if he develops quickly, it’ll be good for Brugge.

Interesting move
