pulisic has been fouled 27 times today

Every time I look up from work it seems like Marcelo commits a yellow card worthy foul against him. It took an especially cynical and dangerous sliding challenge to finally get booked

that's been true for years and now he is slow as well as a hack defender.

Ramos probably had major fomo looking at Christian’s delicate but devastating ankles.

It’s still wild to me that we produced a player good enough to get targeted by Real goons in a champions league semi

I used to watch some real dog turd teams just to try and get a late cameo from a yank abroad at like 6:30 AM on a Saturday

Ramos didn't play and Pepe is gone (hacking for Porto now so had that shot last round), so that helps.

San Jose has a 17 year old name Cade Cowell who is built like Christian McCaffrey, looks like the bad guy in a John Hughes teen romp, and absolutely dominated Dallas last weekend.

Pretty great goal for a 17 year old, but this absolute slide-rule/Iniesta-style dime, on the half-step, with the outside of his right foot was even better.

He's dual-eligible for Mexico, but has represented the US at the U17 level and no one thinks he's interested in El Tri. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a giant move to a big, big club this January. Physicality will not be a concern. We could be looking at the biggest fee for an American teen leaving MLS by a long shot.

Hazard was almost invisible in yesterday's game, to the point where I had forgotten he was on RM. I wonder if Hazard has CP posters in his room to aspire to now.

According to Derek Rae, Jesse Marsch is not only the next RBL manager, he turned down TOTTENHAM to stay in the RB family.

We missed a World Cup, did nothing to fix the federation, and still churned out elite players and managers like Marsch & Matarazzo. E we are going to see two American managers face off in the bundesliga next year.

Cade Cowell is basically the next stage in the Jordan Morris animorph

Solid meltdown from PSG. Played pretty well in the 1st had and was up 1-0. Then in the second half they let a FK go through the wall and get a red card a few minutes later. Now they’re down 2-1 at home.

I thought I read yesterday that Barnsley had secured Dike through the promotion playoffs, but I just saw an article in the Orlando Sentinel that Orlando is playing hardball and are still planning on recalling him at the end of May.

I freaking love this. Barnsley have many millions of promotion dollars riding solely on Dike's ability to finish pretty much every chance their terrible offense creates. I'm not sure I've ever seen a team more over a barrel regarding a transaction like this. They have zero chance of promotion without him. This could be one of the most expensive loan extensions ever haha

the La Liga title race is great - Barca has a game in hand and is two points off first. RM is two points out and now Sevilla is within three . . . I cheer for Barca but would be awesome if Sevilla snuck in and won it.

Barcelona and Atletico still play as do Sevilla and Real Madrid.

France appears to be a good race also. Lille came from 2-0 down on the road to beat 4th place Lyon over the weekend.

yes, nice to see a race in France for once. Either Barca or Athletico can win out to win the league though the draw in the head to head now favors Barcelona. RM will be focused on CL

And another twist with Barcelona losing at home to Granada. Barcelona still controls their own destiny but their game against Atletico next weekend is probably a must win. They obviously can’t lose that one now and while a draw wouldn’t be the worst result, they’d no longer control their own destiny.

Actually, they don't control any more because if they finish level with RM, they lose the tiebreaker. I expect all teams to drop more points. How the hell do you lose with 82% possession?

Well never mind then. I just thought it was off goal differential like the EPL.
