I mean he is certainly a flawed person and would be an annoyance, but the bar for the Cubs right now is being set at "Does he physically abuse women and make them fear for their lives?" so as a cyber bully/troll he's looking pretty saint-like at this point.

Fortunately, we can chew gum and walk at the same time and realize there's a sliding scale of awfulness and we wouldn't have to tolerate them "only" trading (hypothetically, thankfully) for a rampant Trumper who traffics in conspiracy theories up the whazoo.

This is a weird take. It's like saying, "At least Louis CK isn't Harvey Wienstein."

Seems like a pretty big deal MLB is allowing this and setting the precedent for the draft rules now to really not matter (not that these guys shouldn’t be paid, more surprised they are allowing it). I’d assume most highly drafted players/agents will try and pull this move now to get more money.

my favorite part about this is that there is a very high chance that murray is not a very good baseball player and doesnt really like it that much in the first place

So if Kyler Murray enters the NFL draft, gets picked and signs with an NFL team, do the A's get a comp pick as if he didn't sign?

No, but the NFL team that drafts him will forever be mocked for taking a 5'10" QB

And Kyler Murray will likely be more wealthy than if he stuck with baseball.

MLB wants to go back to 15 day DL and go to 15 day requirement for optioned players to stay down.

Since we never seemed to take advantage of it, I’m fine with it I guess. This horsefeathers with the Dodgers and Brewers especially with how they are always shuffling guys around.

Yeah I'm okay with trying to limit the pitcher shuffling games, but this also feels like something they are putting out there so they can concede it later in labor negotiations.
