So many of these bad strike calls are completely changing the Cubs at bats. It seems like there have been several occurrences of a 1-0 pitch outside the zone being called a strike, then the hitter offering at 1-1 pitch outside the zone when they likely would have laid off if the count was 2-0. The 2nd pitch can end up being the difference between 3-0 or 1-2.
