the forecast has rain for the 9 oclock hour (their time) and then clear from 10 on. so 9 chicago time. seems like they might as well wait that out at this point.

on the other hand, the radar looks like they're right on the edge of a storm that just keeps going. hard to say if it'd actually pass over GABP or not.

i was remembering a sunday st louis game and i accidentally picked the late august one for some reason...we were already out of first place by then.

It's always weird to see how good the Cubs have actually been in the last 30 years. Obviously, not much to show for it, and not enough success, but the Cubs have not been as big of a disaster as the lovable loser tag would lead you to believe.

yeah...back in like 07-08 i used to use the whole "uh other teams have had it much worse than me" since i started following in 95...pirates, royals, etc.

 

then the last 7 years happened and that is no longer the case. we have had it shitty.

The Shark deal happened at like 8:30 PM Central on the 4th of July. I remember I was at a fireworks show with little service and kept refreshing like a madman when the reports started to come out.
