Michael Wilbon is truly crediting Gould for Cutler's GW drive on Twitter. What a meathead.

If there's no timeouts left due to a bad snap or something. Why call timeout with 6 secs left and have to deal with kicking off?

Maybe if there's a bad snap the kicker can throw it away quickly and still have time on the clock

I'll go with for entertainment purposes.

Derrek Carr isn't really all that good, he looked extremely managed, he wasn't using the whole field, and he was inaccurate.

2nd year QB, he's going to get better. Not sure if he'll ever be in that upper tier but he's good.

if you think there's any such thing as a single game that's a sure win (especially with ja [expletive] happ pitching) in baseball, you do not understand baseball. the pirates can't will their way to winning a baseball game.

Montgommery has a broken fibula...hope you liked Slauson at C today

gotta believe this speeds up Grasu's emergence.

The snap problems weren't unexpected. It should be better after a week of work

If the Broncos hold on vs the Vikings, the Bears will have 2 games remaining on their schedule against teams with winning records.

Does the C have to make all the line calls (I assume Grasu wouldn't be ready to do that)? If not, I'd probably rather see Slauson back at LG and Grasu at C just to have a little continuity with guys at familiar positions.

Shout out to Fangio and his boys on defense. Very good game today. 273 yards of total offense, against a team that came in averaging over 100 more in total offense and ranked in the top 7 in the NFL thru the first 3 weeks. The Bears are still dead last in points allowed, but they somehow are 7th in total defense and 6th in passing yards. Pernell McPhee is the real deal.

Yeah it is really get an evaluation on your team when your first 3 games are against 3 of the best in the conference. Add to that you had maybe the worst backup QB in the league taking half the snaps in those 3 games and number 1 WR only playing 3 quarters and we really don't have a good handle on this team. So while it was somewhat understandable that people were calling us the worst team in the league, I didn't think that was fair with all things above considered.

We still don't really know how good they are but we will find out soon

Amazing that Cutler was able to do what he did today with Bennett, Wilson, Royal and Forte as his only viable receiving options. They are headed the right way on defense. And as long as that unit can keep the team in it, and Cutler is the QB, the Bears will be competitive every week.

I was really impressed with Wilson today. He had that one bad drop but made a bunch of nice catches, especially in crunch time.

Yeah, Slauson could make all the line calls at LG. I suspect they'll do that and start Grasu at C.

Congrats on the win.

I didn't get to watch much of the game at all but I really didn't like the vanilla run call on 3rd and 2 with 2:50 left. Go with your best play and try to get the 1st down. The 1st down is worth way more than running the clock from 2:50 to 2:10 when the other team still has 2 timeouts left. That's an eternity in football especially when they only need a FG.

Who the heck is Cameron Meredith? I had to look up who 81 was since I had no idea. That Cutler was able to move the ball down the field with guys like Meredith and Mariani lining up on offense ought to shut up all the haters, but it won't. Glad to see Wilson contributing. If they can somehow retain all of Jeffery, Bennett, White, Royal and Wilson for next year and solidify the OLine, the offense should be in excellent shape.

I trust they'll find ways to get Langford a lot more looks as the season wears on. Definitely need to know whether they have in house replacements or need to look elsewhere for a running back.
