I was more referring to the amount of home runs he gives up. The overall results are fine but 6 hits in 4 innings is poor. His ability to scatter the base runners he allows has been quite remarkable so far as a Cub.

A fly ball pitcher against an uppercut swing team in the biggest home run park in MLB on a hot day was never going to be a recipe for a shutout. 2 in 4 innings should have been about the expectation.

The Cubs biggest asset offensively is how patient a team they are. Keep making Sale throw extra pitches each AB.
