Richard was acquired from Pitt for straight cash. He was 4-2 with a 2.09 ERA in 56IP for their AAA affiliate.

we've just come off facing 3 of the top 5 staffs (i think) in the league.

They faced the Mets 2 worst pitchers (Colon and Niese) and just scored 1 against Tom Koehler.

They faced the Mets 2 worst pitchers (Colon and Niese) and just scored 1 against Tom Koehler.

 

Strangely enough, throughout that stretch, the only guys we managed any kind of offense against were Clayton Kershaw and Jacob DeGrom.
