For all the things castro does wrong, he's been a freaking animal when it comes to clutch hitting this season

Id be interested to see how many of those game winning hits were set up by an intentional walk.. that's the 2nd or 3rd time I remember off the top of my head.

Anyone else feel that Rondon is just not the answer as closer? He can get the job done at times and in a game like this you don't have much for options, but I really hope they choose to avoid putting him back in the full-time closer role.

Anyone using MLB.tv have a pretty shoddy buffer rate with their new video player? Mine is constantly losing it's high res image and buffering between terrible low quality and mid range quality and cutting in and out for the past week or two. I've been using the old player which works just fine, is anyone else having this issue?

I ultimately think the Cubs will see if Soriano can be effective and if he can't, they'll make a move for Papelbon.

Watching replay of Castros AB.. I love his approach there. I feel like so often he's trying to be a power hitter and pull off on the ball. He's so freakin good when he tries to go back up the middle or drive the ball the other way.

This isn't the first time that things have gone well for the Cubs in a game and people like Ski and DiamondMind have suddenly stopped posting after nonstop bitching for the whole thing. Edited by Sammy Sofa

Name the last Cubs closer who you felt was lights out getting the last 3 outs. I can't say I have the stats, but my last really fond memory of a closer would have been Rod Beck. I thought he was solid, but I was also like 9.
