A funny game would be to ignore everyone on the forum except the usual game thread suspects, then not watch any Cubs game for a week, then read all of the game threads and guess the Cubs record in those games.

 

I've regularly come into the game threads without checking the score and most of the time I guess the Cubs are getting annihilated, like, 13-2.

 

Idk why but I laugh so hard every time you post this

 

Probably because of how accurate it is

 

EVERY TIME I'm like, "nah, it's just these guys being those guys" and then doubt starts creeping in and then I check the score and it's 2-1 in the 4th EVERY TIME.

I'm more interested in giving him support if it improves his performance. Otherwise, this is major league baseball. No one should get any more rope than necessary. It's not like we're obligated to start Castro because he has a hypothetical Ryan Howard contract.
