Win at baseball, Cubs.

And let's actually play above .500 for a sustained period of time, please.

Hah. Point. I'm referring to the past month or so. Feels like we've been around six over forever.

Well it took them forever to finally hit 7 games over .500...Now were back and forth at 6. Wonder how long it will take them to hit 8? Hopefully soon

They've been 6 over for 5 days this season. The only period of time (counting backwards) they've played under .500 is over the last 3 or 1 game(s). Edited by SouthSideRyan

i'll be at the game, hoping for copious amounts of dongs.

Last game I actually went to featured a walk off home run by Darwin Barney

Joe Mauer pretty quickly became terrible, and he's only 32.

Random, but I just realized that before Mauer, the last time an MVP had less than 100 runs or 100 RBI was when Elston Howard won it in 1963.

I like the Cubs chances against Hughes. He's not overpowering. He's not too great at any one aspect of pitching and the Cubs seem to beat the pitchers they're supposed to beat a lot this year.

It's not debatable at all. Olt can play above average defense at 3rd and actually provide pop off the bench. Neither of which Baxter can do.

Baxter has been a better hitter at more or less every level since 2012.

Great fun start.

Can't expect the Cubs to score in the first inning every, or even most games.

Would be nice to get a better start against a junkballer, though.

Just noticed that Hughes only threw 7 pitches. Yeah, that's pretty vomit-worthy. I wonder if the offense gets overanxiouss against pitchers they know they can hit.
