That's still dumb. 3 1/2 years of Harper would not be worth 6 1/2 years of Bryant and Russell or Rizzo.

Chances are you're joking, but Harper is younger than both of them and plays strong defense at a relatively easy position, though. I wasn't alone thinking the Nationals could have any two players we have for Harper.
