somehow my weak trolling attempt got a bulls fan and not the celtics fan

 

but seriously prime scottie could give absolutely anybody fits

 

90-91 magic was still a hell of a player and he made him struggle badly in the finals

seriously how much does your 4th or 5th best player even matter

 

This might be a strong argument for a regular NBA game. But when the other team's fifth best player is Kobe Bryant, I'm thinking it matters quite a bit.

the point is only one of those guys actually gets to have the ball and shoot it at a time and nothing stops your 2-3 best players from having it the vast majority of the time.

 

i don't care how much spacing or whatever the [expletive] those 4th and 5th guys get you, a team with michael jordan and scottie pippen in their primes (and MVP derrick rose) isn't getting smoked by anyone. i'm not saying they'll win.

lol, can't believe this is a serious conversation. This is basically the 90s Bulls are the bestest and they could hang with every franchise's all team.

Das ridiculous. Bird isn't some 60s Celtic that played in a totally different league . He's an all time great and played dominant basketball in a great era of the NBA.

 

Scottie Pippen was the best defensive player in the history of the league.

Derrick Rose may not be going to the Olympics next year, but he may be getting closer to reaching his own olympus, the place where he once ruled in the NBA.

 

“He looks like the old Derrick to me,” said Rob McClanaghan, Rose’s trainer, at the USA Basketball camp in Las Vegas. “Now having that full year (back playing), a good playoff run, everything, the mental stuff is back, too. I think everything has come together this summer more than last summer. He’s had momentum going into the summer unlike last year. Mentally, physically, he looks very good. There’s no reason he’s not going to have a good season.

 

“I worked out Derrick and Russell (Westbrook) together,” McClanaghan said Tuesday. “It’s amazing how competitive those guys are in workouts. Unlike many guys in this league, those guys together push each other. It was like getting back to predraft ’08. Like Russell said (of Rose), everything is back to where it used to be. Derrick’s timing is back and mentally he’s in a very good place.”

It's good to read, and its certainly plausible but I've read too many fluff pieces over the years (not just Rose) to take a wait and see approach. Derrick Rose at 90% of this MVP year makes this season a lot more interesting at least.

Cool- always loved Toni. Glad he is a part of the org. Wonder if he'll have a focus in the international market or just general stuff.

Love Toni, and love how he made Chicago his home. I remember when he used to play for the Bucks he would live in Highland Park and commute to Milwaukee for games.

Mr. Rose was in a non-exclusive, consensual sexual relationship with the plaintiff for over two years. The plaintiff expressed no complaints about Mr. Rose until various lawyers began to surface and demand that the plaintiff be paid millions of dollars. This is the third lawyer the plaintiff has retained in this matter. Two years have passed since Mr. Rose ended the consensual relationship with the plaintiff. And her claims are as meritless now as they were two years ago. We have complete confidence that the case will be dismissed and that Mr. Rose will be vindicated. This lawsuit is outrageous."

 

That's the kind of statement I've been waiting to hear from Kane's camp, but has never come.

She could easily be telling the truth, but it seems hard enough to prove the allegations against Kane, and the accuser got a rape kit like an hour later. Unless this chick has some kind of damning evidence, this sounds impossible to prove.
