Hendricks has been getting lit up. The 5th inning tonight was truly something to see. Looked like BP.

Do they wait for Wada to get back to replace him?

@CSNMooney Joe Maddon was asked postgame if Kyle Hendricks' struggles (5.61 ERA) could lead to changes in #Cubs rotation: “No. I believe in the guy."

Maddons fault tonight, Hendricks only had 70 something pitches than replaced him with EJAX. IF HE REALLY BELIEVED in the guy he woulda let him pitch another inning.

The zone seemed a little small but Hendricks wasn't fooling anyone. He stuff wasn't there (no movement, poor command). Hendricks needed to come out when he did. The only way you peg that loss on Maddon is if you question bringing in EJax vs. someone else, and even then, who? Strop? Coke? The new guy? Motte? The pen was tired and there weren't better options available. I think this loss is all on Hendricks.

Hendricks is the super nerdy guy, right? Or is that Arietta? Whichever one is the guy who loves studying is gonna be OK.

I think you're talking about Hendricks who went to Dartmouth. Arrieta is the workout freak.

Your probably right, but knowing your pen is thin i woulda rolled the dice on Hendricks one more inning because i hate EJAX but anyways.

He won't remember any of that.

Arrieta is the Japanese guy right? And Hendricks is like a really short Samoan.

Then I'd remember them; white baseball players are so nebulous. I know we have a bunch of beardos, Kris Bryant and tinyface.

Who is tinyface?

Looks like Wada might be headed to the big league rotation. My guess would be for Wood, forcing Coke or Russell out and Wood to the pen. Wood is scheduled to go Thursday, Hendricks Friday.

Hendricks now has one of the only 6 Shut Outs so far this year. Oddly enough, another one of them belongs to upcoming trainwreck Josh Collmenter.
