As stated....this pen is garbage.....even with a healthy Ramirez/Grimm it's not good enough....time for the FO to get off their ass and do something about it......And, NO, it's NOT too early IMO.

We Need a REAL LF....another arm in the pen that is CLOSER level good.....AND a STRONG #2/3 type starter.....and waiting until mid-summer isn't gonna cut it.

btw, without Walden the Cardinals bullpen is Rosenthal, Siegrist, and a slew of guys who pump nothing but strikes but never strike anyone out. The Cubs can easily add 2 more.

And Tony Cruz will bloop an inside the parker in the 9th

There's nothing inherently wrong with fatalism, but dozens of posts of exclusively fatalism in basically every game thread is a problem.

Fellas, I haven't been able to watch very many games due to work, and the pitching all around has sure looked pretty poopy most of the times I have watched; please do me a solid and tell me some soothing things to make me feel better.

Not poopy

Huh. So the bullpen woes everyone keeps complaining about are mostly just a heaping helping of BABIP variance?

You know what's super cool? The fact we finally have a good team after 6 years, one that will just get better and better, yet the Cardinals are off to one of their best starts in team history. Stunning it is not. It's expected.

The look on Maddon's face was like, oh so THIS is how it is here.

Lou called them Cubbie occurrences

I always liked that term in a weird sort of way

All of our pitchers have been BABIPed to death so far. I've never seen so many seeing eye ground balls in my life. The Arrietta start against the Reds may have been the worst.
