I know we won today, but let's not suck against another mediocre pitcher again tomorrow, please.

Flyball pitcher and it's going to finally be warm. The dong we've all been waiting for will come in this game.

I hope our boys throw the Brewers a serious beating the rest of the series. A win is a win, but dropping double digit runs on the worst team in baseball would help feed my desire to be a bully for the first time since 2008.

Playing at a 100 win pace is sufficient for me to feed my desire to be a bully.

Not too shabby while having faced one of the toughest schedules in MLB so far.

I mean, its cool to see that those two are getting along so well, but did Rizzo not have any friends before Bryant arrived? Seems like hes hanging out with Bryant a ton. And by a ton, Im basing this off of a comment, a gif of them hanging out in the dugout, and a picture of them at a Blackhawks game.

I had a weird ass dream that Arrieta was scratched from this start and we brought up some completely random dude from AA because he "matched up" well against the Brewers. Then I went in the minor league thread and Arrieta was pitching for our AA team for some reason.

When center fielder Carlos Gomez is taken off the disabled list and returns to the Brewers' lineup on Saturday afternoon, there will be no easing back into action. Gomez said he considers Cubs starter Jake Arrieta one of the best pitchers in baseball.

"I can't wait … [to] have my debut again, against one of the best pitchers that we see," said Gomez, who has been on the DL since suffering a right hamstring strain on April 15. "The statistics probably don't say so, but that guy, for me, is the best pitcher in the National League.

"I said early that he's going to be one of the top three pitchers in baseball. The way he pitches, I like it, so I'm excited, too, because I'm not going to face a nobody. I'm going to face a really good pitcher, and I know it's going to be tough. I don't like to face him, but yet I do, because that's how I know that I'm good, too."
