BTW - if you go to the user control panel, there's an option there for notification settings. By default, you should get notified when someone quotes one of your posts.

 

I changed all the settings to receive notifications (not email) and am still not getting them. Oh well

it'll take a little getting used to but i'm liking it. i'd prefer the names/info be on the left side like before if that's an option/if the majority likes it. embedding tweets/youtube = good.

Pretty sure the new software hasn't been made compatible with it based on this thread's conversation.

 

I like Tapatalk, hope it gets used, but if not I'll get used to it. Board seems to be loading much faster, so that's pretty cool.

Ah, got it.

 

The new format is far superior to the old on mobile. But it's still too busy for my liking and takes longer to load. It wouldn't be the end of the world to lose Tapatalk but I definitely prefer its simplicity.

I haven't set up Tapatalk. I did get an email from them that the latest version of their software is compatible with this version of phpbb, so I'll get around to it sometime in the next week.

The older subsilver style has not been redone by phpbb. The only style they officially support at this point is prosilver. But someone else created a third party version of it that is based on prosilver so that it has the same responsive features, but the same general look and feel as subsilver.
