Sandberg in Alabama? Ernie Banks in New Mexico?

Oh, and no Michael Jordan's. Interesting.

Old people retiring in the South?

Kobe in Minnesota and Wisconsin seems kind of weird to me. I wouldn't expect it to be an NBA player in either of those states, let alone Kobe.

minnesota isn't that weird, but do they not sell Packer throwbacks?

Yeah, there's probably a half dozen Packer jerseys I'd expect to see before Kobe. Or even some of the old school Brewers like Molitor and Yount.

Vince Carter in New Hampshire. Wtf.

That one isn't so strange on the surface to me. Boston and New York are closer, but Toronto is probably the third closest NBA team to people in that state.

I don't keep up with NBA at all, so this is an honest question. Have any of those cities had anyone as popular as Carter the last 15 years or so?

Dedicated Lakers fans who rightly view the Timberwolves as an abomination.

And they probably forgot the Bucks exist like everyone else in the word.

I don't even know who that is for NC. I figured theirs would be a Jordan UNC jersey.

And here I thought you knew your history:

I read this last night and I think there are some shenanigans going on here. There is no way Vince Carter outsells Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, or The Chief in NH. There are thousands of people living in southeastern NH who commute to Boston. They are very much New Englanders and are highly patriotic. No way a Canadian team outsells their Celtics.

Also, Sandberg in Alabama makes no sense whatsoever. Namath's Alabama jersey or Bo Jackson's Auburn jersey I'd believe...or is this pro's only?

M & Ness don't sell college jerseys. Just looked on their site.

They don't really have that many jerseys. For example, they don't sell a Bo Jackson Raiders jersey.
