lol it's humorous no doubt but he's not making up hate for the 2004 Cubs. I'll read it again tomorrow when I'm not drunk though. It's not hard to find similar examples though.

Honesty how much hate can you build up for a team with few expectations that was out of contention by mid-April? How many 1997 Cubs games did you watch after Memorial Day. Of the ones that you did watch, how much emotion did you feel when things went bad in the games?

I hate pointessly horrible seasons a lot more than I hate good seasons that end poorly.

I'm honestly trying to think of any Cubs team that I actively hated like I do this Bears team though. Disappointing...sure, 2004 fits the bill without a doubt. But I didn't hate them even a little bit.
