Not that I agreed with the pick at the time but is that net or gross avg?

I'm just going to turn a blind eye to Marshall's antics and pretend its his first 2 years in Chicago when he could do no wrong and was beloved.

eh, marshall has been doing/saying crazy things from time to time the whole time, pretty much, especially on social media. as long as he's not getting arrested, he's fine.

Yeah, this isn't a case of the media jumping at the first opportunity to criticize Marshall. If anything he's made it impossible for them to keep pretending everything was just fine.

 

There's been a definite uptick in the "crazy", without a doubt. But I do feel like there's a certain amount of the local media that has been waiting for just that. I'm not saying it's unjustified, unfortunately.

@LRiddickESPN: They are messing up some of the most basic, remedial coverage principles that are taught in rookie mini-camps.

 

@LRiddickESPN: Easy to simply say that Mel Tucker needs to go. And maybe he does. But these safeties are awful.

 

@LRiddickESPN: Lacy's 56yd screen TD: 7 #Bears defenders around him at one point within 7 yds, and 5 blockers. Poor effort, poor compete, poor finish.

Not coincidentally, it came right after Emery gave him a contract extension. Does Emery know the franchise tag exists?
