Why would you want the offense to touch the ball again this half?

 

It's an extra possession and you have 3 TOs. Even if you just run the ball a couple of times and try to break off a long one you at least have a chance at something with little risk. I could understand if the score was 14-7 or something but the way the Dolphins are controlling the clock you might only get 4 possessions in the second half giving you almost no margin for error if you want to win
