Will Remillard...any chance he's for real?

He's known for his defense.

Jorge Soler (hamstring rehab) is still at Extended Spring Training, and (just like yesterday) he played RF for all nine innings in today's game. He had four Plate Appearances in the game, hitting a check-swing dribbler back to the pitcher on a 3-0 pitch in his first AB in the bottom of the 1st inning, walked on four pitches in the 4th, grounded out 5-3 in the 7th, and (representing the tying run) lined-out to right with runners on 1st & 2nd and out out in the 9th.

RHRP Kyuji Fujikawa (2013 TJS rehab) and RHP Jesus Castillo (one of two pitchers acquired from Arizona in the Tony Campana deal) were scheduled to throw "live" BP on Field #5 prior to the game on Field #6. Both pitchers warmed up in the Field #5 bullpen, and while Castillo did throw his two "innings" (40 pitches total - 20 pitches in each inning), Fujikawa returned to the clubhouse after completing his warm-ups and did not throw BP.

Michael Wagner... not ringing any bells here.

Bryant's college teammate, a reliever in all likelihood. Okay K/BB but really hittable at Boise last year.

Wada didn't strike out the world today, but still got a quality start. All 5 of his ER this year have come via the HR

Rosscup with a perfect IP with a K

Bruno went 3 for 3 with a walk, he's quietly up to a .283/.394/.424/.418 line

Torrez with only 2 K in 6 IP, but only 4 H/1 BB too

Is Remillard really known for his defense? I noticed him for the first time the other day, he's up to .355/.437/.500 after a huge day today

That's Remillard's line *before* today's game. He's now .385/.467/.554.

I'll hand it to Arguello on Remillard. He called him a sleeper prior to the season and said the scouts he spoke to liked him defensively and thought the bat had potential as well.

9.2% HBP%, he's slipping a bit

how much is his isod from HBP, haha

yeah, if you looked at just his MiLB line, you'd be wondering how the hell his OBP. i think he's only walked 7 times in 25 games, which generally doesn't translate to a >.100 IsoD (unless you've been hit by pinch 10 times).
