St. Louis can still win the division with 1 more point than Colorado tomorrow, leaving the Avs to play Chicago

yes, missed that, thanks. They would have to win and Colorado lose, as Colorado has the tie-breaker with ROW

They are tied so St Louis could lose in a Shootout if Colorado loses in regulation.

right, a St. Louis win or OTL coupled with a Colorado loss would give the Blues the division

Do we have a schedule in place yet? I'm trying to get my cousin to St. Louis for game 2 and can't find anywhere that says exactly what the schedule will be.

I think i read game 1 will be Thursday so I'm guessing game 2 will be on Saturday or less likely but still possible Sunday.

I don't think they will announce the full schedules until the regular season is over and there are still games today that haven't even started

Not that I follow Hockey at all, but it seems kinda nuts to me that there's only one Canadian team in the playoffs.

Seems sort of typical.

Quite a few of them have been also rans for years. Vancouver is the only one that's been reliably good but they missed their time and are poorly run.

Flyers Rangers is only interesting because Flyers/ Pens would be fun in round 2. Look out for the Flyers coming out of the east. a rematch of 2010 could be in the offing.

Wings over Bruins in 7 and Dallas beating Anaheim are my upsets.

From a historical standpoint, it's hard to pick the Sha-arks but They're getting Hertl back, Pavelski is having an awesome year and if they get any goaltending they ought to be in the WCF. The Sha-arks will never have a better chance than this year.

Interesting to no one but me:

In my first season on NHL '14, I took the Blue Jackets to a 43-33-6 record, good for the #1 WC, and lost to Pittsburgh in 7 games in the first round.

In real life, the 2013-14 Blue Jackets went 43-32-7, good for the #1 WC, and are playing Pittsburgh in the first round.
