First pitch ball to Adams according to Gameday.

Jackson missed his spot badly and Castillo had to reach all the way across his body to catch it. That doesn't excuse the ump from not calling it a strike, but it certainly wasn't Castillo's fault like Kyle might want you to believe.

It's always Castillo's fault.

You can't have human eyes properly judge the perimeter of an invisible zone.

It's the 21st century. Lets make this game fair. It's time for an computerized strikezone.

Edwin Jackson threw a strike. Edwin Jackson deserved a strike there. Where Castillo meant to catch the ball should not matter at all.

There was one to Carpenter that should have been called also.

Edwin you are a pitcher, the extra pitches Wacha has to throw to get you out are more important than you jumping on a good pitch and raising your odds of getting a hit from 8% to 10%.

Agreed, they had been working him into higher counts and then Edwin swings at the 1st pitch. Unless they're sac. bunting or have a RISP, they should have at least 3 pitches and try and foul some off if poss.

Bad decision to pitch to him.

The way he's going it's a bad decision for Edwin to pitch to anyone.
