I'd actually be more interested in video of the next AB where he struck out, under the circumstances.

 

Still - that was a bomb. Why anyone would ever throw this guy a fastball is beyond me.

None of the swings look awkward. I wouldn't read anything into it. Striking out is something he does too...especially not surprising against a guy with an atypical delivery (my video game expertise earlier aside).

It was just weird because Kenney insisted the defensive metrics painted Soriano as just a horrible fielder and Byrnes was like no they don't...and Kenney was all like I don't know what you're looking at.

Nah, I think I just like that he noticed the back leg kick out and when he mentioned Frank Thomas I couldn't not think of Frank Thomas after seeing it. It was a pretty spot on observation.
