And if Emery is pretty adamant about NOT wanting to be on it, maybe Sam isn't an option for us?

 

Bears aren't going to be on Hard Knocks because a handful of teams have already raised their hands as volunteers.

 

The NFL can only force teams in if nobody in the league volunteers.

Ok, he's 6'4", 220lbs, ran a 4.64 40, did 23 reps (more than six tight ends, 19 running backs, 21 defensive linemen and all 37 wide receivers according to NFL.com). Any chance he can play a real position? haha

I'm picturing Emery playing NCAA Football, and he creates Pat O'Donnell as a Punter, but gives him solid WR ratings, exports him to Madden, drafts him late as a P, then switches him to a WR where he becomes a round 2 talent...
