With AU up 20, I was starting to think about a potential jump of Oregon in the rankings, but you have to give credit to Aaron Murray, and it's great to get the win. If Auburn were to beat Bama, they have to become the top ranked 1 loss team, right?

Hopefully, Michigan or Michigan State can knock off Ohio State, and Oklahoma State takes care of Baylor.

Hell, they beat Bama and win SEC title they will jump all the way to #2.

There's no question. Any one loss team that beats Alabama trumps Ohio State or Baylor.

I doubt it. They will still be 4th in both human polls and will share votes with Oregon too. That won't be enough.

Southern Miss is now 0-22 following a home rout to Florida Atlantic 41-7.

They are 0-22 in the past two years combined after going 12-2 in 2011. Wonder if there has ever been such a drastic dropoff in the history of D1 football.

Their stadium at kickoff yesterday. And just so you know, most of that gold you see are empty chairback seats.

I watched Favre play in that stadium. That place used to be rocking. That pic remnds me of the Dome at Tulane games.

On a sidenote, Tulane opens Yulman Stadium next fall, the first time they'll be back on campus since the Superdome opened and they tore down old Tulane Stadium. Yes, I am a pumped.

Wow, I didn't know that. That'll be great for Tulane. Last year we played Tulane in the Dome and ya it's a stale atmosphere, especially when you compare it to what I'm used to seeing the dome be like during Saints games.

My dad tells me stories about when he was a kid going to Tulane games at the old Tulane Stadium and later on going to Saints games there. He talked about how when people would get to stomping on the bleacher seats that it'd be deafening.

Yulman Stadium, opening Fall of 2014. Capacity of 30,000. If you are familiar with the campus, it is being built right behind the baseball complex, right on campus. I do know Georgia Tech and Rutgers are coming here next season.

My wife went to Southern Miss. They have a pretty good football tradition and alumni support. People are really pissed about what is going on. My wife said the entire University is going downhill ever since they hired a new President a few of years ago.

That I agree with. Would be curious to see them play each other if the top 4 all stay undefeated.

This got me curious about the bowl selection order and it looks like Baylor's going to get screwed over (assuming they win the conference and don't make the title game) and be stuck with Fresno State or Northern Illinois. The Big 12 goes to the Fiesta and they also have the last selection of the at-larges.

They won't be sharing any votes with Oregon. The pollsters will rocket Auburn up the rankings if they beat Bama (which they won't, they will probably lose by 20).

Ouch, ASU favored in Pasadena. Vegas really doesn't seem to like UCLA.

Don't know why, but that Tulane stadium reminds me of a European soccer stadium.

My first thought when I saw that was "New Orleans would make a better MLS market than Miami."

It reminded me of Memorial Stadium (Illinois) with IMPE at the one end of the stadium.
