@brianlawton9 Don't be surprised if Kesler ends up in CHI via a blind three way deal....... Lot going on behind scenes on this one!

I read that Philly is making a big move to get him. I don't understand Philly

Yeah, some Vancouver reporter tweeted that it was down to Philly and Pitt.

Maybe Philly is the middleman in the blind 3-way

Maybe. I think Philly is always lured to the most shinny object on the shelf and will make the moves to get it, regardless if it is good for the team long term or not. So my guess is that they do not want whatever non-shinny thing the Hawks would give up to get Kesler.

Versteeg scored in both outdoor games right? Does that make him the most shinny?

Down 2 points to the Blues (who have 3 games in hand) and 1 point ahead of Avs (who have 1 game in hand) for home ice in first round.

4 regulation losses in 5 games. Blah.

this team has been average for a long stretch now. not very fun to watch, honestly. i expected it before the olympics, but they've had piss poor effort in 2 of the 3 games since they've been back.

21 points in the last 20 games. that is pretty brutal for a team with this much talent.

If you can continue sleepwalking tomorrow night, I'd appreciate it, thanks

Columbus always seems to wake them up. Though this is a different team than the one we pantsed over and over the last few years.

Their shootout game last year was the best game I've ever seen in person.

The CBJ are playing well right now, but they're inconsistent. Last night was a perfect example; put up three quick goals in the first period, then got only ONE shot on goal in the second. They continued to play prevent defense in the third, allowing two quick goals. They have a bad habit of sitting on leads rather than keeping up offensive pressure. They're a good defensive team, but they can't rely solely on grinding and Bobrovsky
