Those are some unbelievably great storylines on 5 of the 8 series if it were to hold:

 

Pens/Wings, Bruins/Habs, Leafs/Rangers, Hawks/Canucks, Blues/Kings

 

Also, potential 2nd round matchups of Hawks/Blues and Pens/Leafs

That isn't how the playoffs work anymore.

Is that yahoo link even accurate? I don't see the "divisional matchup" aspect at play at all.

No, it's not accurate.

 

I think ESPN is showing the same, and I haven't been able to find anything that gives a breakdown of what we might be seeing.
