Chicago/Detroit, Seattle/Houston -- two very solid matchups in the early games.

Thursday's game is suddenly interesting because the 49ers are suddenly human.

Ready to get steamrolled, Philly?

NE/ATL matchup should be good.

DAL/SD -- potential for fireworks.

Monday night -- more watchable than last Monday, for sure.

if peyton wins a super bowl with the broncos, he is the best player of all time?

Most of the reason I posted the playoff odds at this point was to show that we're just 3 weeks in and already 12 teams are basically DOA.

Also, Seattle's schedule is so easy this season they've already got a 14% chance of going 15-1 and a 78% chance of landing the 1 seed in the NFC.

I give Rodgers a few more years.

Minnesota is starting Matt Cassell.

Flynn in at QB for Oakland, which makes that really interesting. I'm thinking Oakland. They actually didn't look as horrible last week considering it was at Denver.

Bradford just looked abysmal.

Wow the Rams are not good. Expected more out of them this year.

Yeah, I'm just going to assume they'll suck every year until they prove me wrong.

The missed touchdown pass to Austin Pettis was the moment I realized Bradford is never going to get any better. I've seen him throw some great passes into tight windows, but that was a gimme and he whiffed. Bill Barnwell sucks, but he's right that Bradford can't throw defenders off. And he's obviously locking into guys because I've never seen someone have so many batted passes.

Unfortunately, I don't think Tajh Boyd or Teddy Bridgewater are going to be any better, which means they're stuck waiting for him to develop or have someone fall in their laps. By that time, Jeff Fisher will be at USC.

Coulda has Suh and RGIII instead.

Something teams should remember this year as they fall over themselves to overdraft QBs when studs like Clowney, Barr, Nix and the top OTs will be available.

Well, I don't know if it works out exactly like that. If they had taken Suh it's more likely that they pick Top 3 again in 2011, and knowing the previous regime, they draft Jake Locker if they don't get Newton. Before last night I thought his contract was more of a restraint than the quarterback himself, since I thought he could get them to 7-8 wins with the potential growing for more next year. Now I'm thinking 7-8 wins is his ceiling.
