Has anyone ever been struck by lightning at an NFL game before?

Not nearly as many as have gotten drunk and fallen to their deaths, I'm sure

They love safety, but not quite that much.

The Saints are going to kill me if they put me through this all year. Great win. Thank you Drew Brees for remembering you're Drew Brees.

That win was anything but great.

The Saints will be 1 of 3 teams in the NFC who are 2-0, with both wins against division opponents. Ugly, ugly win on the road in shitty conditions where there was an hour weather delay. Yes, it is a great win.

Meh, the win was still mediocre at best. That said, if the Seahawks win tonight, the 3 undefeated NFC teams will each have an impressive win (Bears at home vs. Cincy, Saints at home vs. Atlanta, Seahawks at home vs. SF) and a mediocre win (Bears at home vs. Minny, Saints on the road vs. TB, Seahawks on the road vs. Carolina)

Semantics I guess. An ugly win that is still big in the grand scheme of things. Between Schiano and his cheap-shot team, Carolina with Cam and Atlanta being Atlanta I really do despise everyone in our division. Any win there is huge for me.

Or, you know, if SF wins they will have two impressive wins and best resume. Home vs. GB and @SEA. But I get what you are saying.

are people really arguing what is a "big" win vs a "meh" win? every win in the NFL is big. dont be stupid.

no kidding. pretty dumb thing to debate.

Especially a division win, and double-especially a division win on the road.

Tampa sucks, but 2-0, both divisional games, is a ginormous way to start the season.

If Harvin can come back at some point this year at or near 100% the Seahawks may be as close to unbeatable as a team can be. Edited by Cubswin11

Understood. I just don't feel real good about a win like that when it's my team versus an obvious hot mess like Tampa, that's all.

You're right, every win in the NFL...

ORLANDO, Fla. -- An Orlando television station has issued an on-air explanation for why it aired the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars while many NFL fans probably would have preferred seeing the Denver Broncos-New York Giants game, a possible Super Bowl preview featuring Peyton and Eli Manning.

WKMG TV issued the scrolled message on Sunday. It read that NFL policy states the station must carry all Jags away games. The end of the message said: "We apologize for any inconvenience.''

Jebus, their near-local network is happy that they don't sell out so they don't have to air their home games
