Per Sahadev Sharma, Bryant's single was of the infield variety. Rivero worked in the low 90s.

bryant has struck out twice in 7 of his last 9 games (once in each of the other 2). is it still way to small of a sample size, or do we make something of this?

Hard to say. His line in those games: 41 PA, .361/.439/.888, 5/16 BB/K

Unsustainable BABIP!

@sahadevsharma: Bryant said he saw more Ks in pro ball than in college, so he was more aggressive driving ball rather than take BBs. Thus, the low BB totals

@sahadevsharma: Bryant said he'll 'develop an eye & figure out how pitchers are trying to get me out & how their pitches move & it'll all come naturally.'

@sahadevsharma: Also talked to Bryant abt mechanics & his wide stance, a little much for twitter, but needless to say, nerded out w/ the kid. So impressive

I love Sharma. Hope he sticks around a while.

Sahadev Sharma ‏@sahadevsharma 1m

Just talked to Bryant abt hitting & mental aspect of game. Not abt results, but process. That mindset will lead to great things, kid gets it

He also talked to Almora. There are a lot of tweets here, I'll try to post them all but it might take some time.

@sahadevsharma: Pointed out to Almora that he's one the of youngest in AFL this year: I might be 19, but I'm ready to play against all these guys. (more)

@sahadevsharma: Almora: I feel like I'm capable of playing & my baseball iq is the same as these guys. I'm happy the way everything's going.

@sahadevsharma: Almora said Bryant & Soler are monsters. Says he's bonded w/ both of them on & off field, they went out for some mini golf the other day

@sahadevsharma: Almora: Theo, Jason & Jed know what they're doing. They're not just forming a crazy lineup ... doing it all, pitching, coaching. Everything.

@sahadevsharma: Almora: Just a matter of time when everything comes together. Everything explodes in Chicago, winning starts & championships start coming

@sahadevsharma: Almora: You say 2015, but if they call our names tomorrow, it's gonna happen. I'm not gonna be scared of the challenge of being up there.

@sahadevsharma: Almora on hype: If there's hype, bring it on, I love it. It gives me a reason to work harder to be the best that there is (more)

@sahadevsharma: Almora: I said one thing to the Cubs when they drafted me. I said I'm gonna prove those 5 teams that passed me up wrong.

@sahadevsharma: Almora: I'm gonna do all in my heart & soul to get you that ring. Honestly, I'm tired of not winning as an organization & I'm not even there

@sahadevsharma: Just talked to Bryant, seems very level-headed. Warned him that hype was gonna get crazy next summer, he seemed aware, but wasn't concerned

@sahadevsharma: Almora is super confident, as he left, I said I wouldn't see him until he gets to Wrigley. He smiled & said, "Then I'll see you soon."

@sahadevsharma: Almora's more forthcoming than when we talked over summer. Said he's sick of Cubs being labeled losers & he's gonna help turn it around

@sahadevsharma: Some strong comments from Almora, liked his confidence. Says org preaches not if, but when Cubs win WS. He's all aboard on that philosophy.

@sahadevsharma: Soler (understandably) didn't have much to say speaking through a translator. Becoming fluent in Spanish continues to climb my priority list
