Did that HBP look intentional? I was surprised they didn't walk Castillo intentionally, and then they hit him anyway.

It looked like it could have been, it was up at his shoulder. Don't think Len said anything though.

Fastball caught him high on the shoulder. Not impossible, but I didn't get the vibe that it was intentional.

This pitcher had no idea where the ball was going so saying it was intentional is giving him way too much credit.

After the 3 shots that Lynn stopped and the 1 identical one of STL's that got past Villanueva, we were due for one of those.

Beating the Cardinals is awesome - we can go back to the fecal league on Monday

 

agreed, i'm happy for the cubs to do their part in sticking the cardinals into that wild card elimination game.

Every day I hope that David Samson is noticing Lake and loves his tools and potential.
