Daniel Lockhart was called up from Boise to Iowa to replace Watkins. Obviously a short term move.

Still can't believe people wanted to move there from AZ.

I really like Lockgart, but Boise to Iowa?

Iowa is in Tacoma, so I'm guessing Lockhart was the only infielder that could get there quick enough.

It's just a short term move to fill the vacant Iowa spot. They'll get an adequate replacement and send Lockhart back to Boise.

Makes sense.

Lockhart is fun to watch though. Good defense and he has amazing bat control. I have seen him fooled on a couple of off speed pitches and occasionally he gets under the ball, but he normally makes contact and puts it where the defense can't reach it. I haven't seen any evidence of power, nor gappers yet.

Is our contract up after 2014 or is it later than that?

Yeah, I imagine it was a 2-year deal.

Haha, saw your tweet @daytonacubs. It was funny/kind of douchy.

Almora left the game with a leg injury of some sort. :/

Daytona keeping me from consistent exposure to Edwards is starting to really bum me out.

Well, there's no way the playing field will be in any condition for tomorrow's doubleheader.

Olt just crushed a 3-run ground rule double off of Taijuan Walker.

2 run double. 3 would be very impressive.

Was just about to ask how that was possible.
