Great eye at the plate but poor hit tool (also very nice speed). If he hits so poorly in A-ball, I don't know that he can turn it around at higher levels to become an adequate starter.

If they aren't US citizens but here on Visa's could there be issues with that?. Obviously they would have to have a passport regardless.

I'm going to make a guess that the guys named Trey are indeed US Citizens.

I completely overlooked those two.... Just focused on Penalver/Yasiel. So maybe the Trey's have some sort of past history (that was mentioned) that is keeping them out and Penalver/Yasiel could potentially face visa issues?

Is this something that could have an effect on their development? Balaguert has been a very pleasant surprise so far.

Doubtful as it's only outside of the country they seem to have problems going and they haven't had any problems traveling within the US so far, or at least what we know of.

IMO he should be getting a bit of buzz (although i don't know much about how his stuff has looked). still only 20 years old and faring well at high A ball. seems like a guy who's got a decent shot at becoming a #3/4 workhorse with that heavy fastball.
