So the Cubs are just going to steal some of the Mets hitters tonight to square off versus Marcum. Sneaky...but I like it.

That's odd. He's not the first player I've ever seen do that.

The others were white so they never noticed.

well he's not a pitcher, so all he has to do is come back before the deadline and he'll still have around the same value.

Sweet. The racist card again.

I honestly don't think it's a 100% race thing. Part of it is just the perception of him from everyone on the outside looking in. They see error totals of his previous seasons, the whole Sunday Night Baseball incident with Bobby Valentine, and they think they can have a free pass to rip him for anything that looks remotely out of the ordinary.

Plus, the guy that does PBP from the Mets is a huge douchebag.

Jackson is brutal. 4 run lead, throw the ball over the plate.

i'm pretty sure he wasn't intentionally missing the zone

Ok? Neither is Marmol when he's having an episode. Still not an excuse.

Well there goes one of the best trade chips.

Now we're stuck with a 2+-win outfielder on a team-friendly option for 2014. #failedintoawin

If DeJesus goes to the DL, who comes up? How's B Jax doing these days?

We would still have 5 OF if he had to be DL bound
