mets announcers are trashing castro for walking to the dugout instead of running. all 3 of them.

That's odd. He's not the first player I've ever seen do that.

The others were white so they never noticed.

well he's not a pitcher, so all he has to do is come back before the deadline and he'll still have around the same value.

I honestly don't think it's a 100% race thing. Part of it is just the perception of him from everyone on the outside looking in. They see error totals of his previous seasons, the whole Sunday Night Baseball incident with Bobby Valentine, and they think they can have a free pass to rip him for anything that looks remotely out of the ordinary.

 

Plus, the guy that does PBP from the Mets is a huge douchebag.

Jackson is brutal. 4 run lead, throw the ball over the plate.

 

i'm pretty sure he wasn't intentionally missing the zone
