Holy [expletive], hard to believe that was just our 4th 3B of the year.

Not necessarily our 4th triple, but the 4th game in which we've had one or more triples, eh?

edit: after checking, it was our 4th triple of the season.

I haven't been following the Sox at all this year. When I saw Dunn's AVG and OBP on his stat line graphic when he came up to bat, I burst out laughing. Man, is that bad.

And I think he's been playing better the last couple of weeks.

How many years would you go?

I'd really try to get it done on a four year deal. But it will probably take five.

I'd go 5 easy, with a team option for a 6th at a high salary.

He turns 29 next January but only has 416 major league innings to go along with 485 minor league frames. Contrast that with EJax who is 29 now and coming into this season had 1,268 major league innings and 556 in the minors.

Plus, Samardzija is very athletic and keeps himself in excellent shape. 5 years on any pitcher is a gamble, but he seems like a good bet.

The silence on the WGN telecast is wonderful.

Gameday showed shark getting squeezed like crazy in that at-bat resulting in a walk. True?
