this is a choke, plain and simple. they can't skate, their passing is all over the place, they can't control their sticks (give me a [expletive] break toews), and they can't keep their composure. they got caught off guard in game 2, couldn't quite pull it together in game 3, and now they're in straight panic mode.

 

the only time I've ever seen them play like this was game 1 of the Vancouver series in the cup year. they're locked up, like they have no idea what to do.

 

1 series win in 3 years since the cup. the grace period is over. what a massive disappointment. not going to be watching game 5.

In Toews defense the Wings have been allowed to interfere with his progress up the ice throughout the whole series. Haven't been called once for a penalty.

I'm disappointed in all of them. Yeah, Toews has put forth more effort but I'm expecting more from him than losing his cool like that. Kane/Hossa -- I'm just wondering what the hell happened, why they never showed up.
