watkins continues on his quest to be a two true outcomes player. 5 plate appearances, 4 walks and a strikeout. now has 20 walks and 21 strikeouts in 18 games.

 

torreyes had a single, double, triple and a walk. beeler went 7 ip, 7 h, 0 r, 1 bb, 2 k, 15go/0fo.

If the magical contact skills can make him impossible to strike out in AA as a 20-year-old, I just don't see any chance that he's not at least a bench bat in the majors.

 

Tennessee has been climbing up the imaginary "which box score am I most excited to check" ranking of our affiliates.

And zero errors. Despite Villanueva, Alcantara, Torreyes, and Mota all having great gloves, I have a feeling Beeler was really forcing those hitters to drive the ball straight down into the ground. Looks like he's got his splitter going well right now.
