If Choo and Aoki were on the same team, we'd never record an out.

Choo's sporting a .387/.535/.613 line right now, so we're not the only one's that can't get him out.

that was the quickest a pitcher's ever came off the mound after an inning ever.

I can only assume they wouldn't have left him in with a broken finger.

he tried to field a ball with his bare hand and it deflected, trainer went to the mound and he stayed in with a bleeding finger. I'm listening though so I didn't see how bad it was.

Are you talking about Samardzija or Latos?

Samardzija. They both go hit by a ball, Latos got hit in the leg though.

Gotcha, well hopefully its nothing too bad. Though if there was blood that could mean a cracked/broken finger nail and that could definitely prohibit him from pitching for a week or so. I was confused because I saw the comment on the poster wanting the ball hit at Latos to be higher.

Seemed like Latos got hit more in the foot than the leg.

Is he literally sprinting down the tunnel for treatment after each half inning? Man's game bitches! Shark!

I wish I could see this.

So does Shark still have all his fingers?

yes, but he's getting an IV with fresh blood each half inning

What the hell?

Pat was just talking to Moreland about how Samardzija threw several high pressure pitches last inning and right in the middle of what sounded like a question, Moreland says, "boy has it lightened up a bunch in here." Pat paused for a few counts, and to me sounded quite annoyed (for him) when answering the interrupted question with, "yes it has Keith."

Moreland sounds like a dumb hick. I have no idea why he has that job.
