I guess Stewart has officially begun his campaign to get the Cubs to cut him. Asked on Twitter when he'll be in the majors for the Cubs, his response was "probably never". He also retweeted a comment saying he's being misused by an org with horrible leadership.

 

Not sure what can be done with him, but it'd be hard for me not to just sit him on the bench the rest of the year.

Unless Jed was straight up lying, they went to him and told him what was up. Valbuena is having a breakout year, and Vitters has more of a future in the organization. He knew what he was getting into, and he decided to do it to keep his money. More power to him, and if he wants to throw Twitter pity parties I don't particularly care. There's nothing that needs to be done though. He's not going to play regularly if Vitters/Lake are healthy, and unless he starts trying to whine to the media about it, that's all there is to it.

Hoyer is going to be on Mac and Spiegel at either 10 o'clock or noon. Can't remember exactly, but I'll update in a few minutes if it happens to be 10.

Probably should have posted this in here vs. a MiLB game thread, but what are some good Twitter accounts for Cubs prospect news/analysis/happenings? I find that a lot of the national accounts don't have enough detail on our guys and traditional Cubs news accounts rarely mention prospects.
