That was fuckin ridiculous. Apparently open ice checks just aren't allowed anymore. It was a shoulder hit until Danielle went into the fetal position at the last split second. Fuckin vag.

What channel is this game on when CSN and CSN+ are taken with the Bulls and Cubs?

Just hurry up and lose already Cubs....or win already Bulls

This definitely feels like one of those games where I'm better off just turning off the TV.

Terrible goal.

I can't shake the idea that the Blackhawks' horrible PP will come back to haunt them in the playoffs.

Yup, I'm out. And don't think a playoff series against these guys, LA or St. Louis will be much different in term of style of game. We aren't going to dance around like ballerinas and score six goals a game.

Wow, badness. I hope they are just pulling back a bit for the playoffs, 'cuz this isn't what I've seen this year.

you can't expect them to keep up intensity when they're basically just waiting for the playoffs to start. i know they're still playing for the presidents trophy, but still. all they're really trying to do right now is not get hurt. even as a fan i find it hard to have any interest in these final games.

Yes, I understand that (if you were talking to me).

nah, i just mean in general. i looked at this game on the schedule and kind of chalked it up as a loss, even if that's kind of irrational. vancouver still has a lot to play for.

i haven't watched the game.... has crawford been bad? that's the one thing i'd worry about.

Chicago has been soft and a step behind all night. Our PP is a nice two minute piss break for us at home.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see a far playoff run for this team

Yeah this will happen. That's what, the second time in 45 games we've been clearly outplayed? It's a schedule loss. Too much strong play this season to worry about this. I didn't even think we were playing that well before tonight and I saw we had an 11 game point streak and just shook my head and laughed.

It would take a lot to convince me this isn't the best team in hockey. Screwy things can happen in a 7 game series, but we've got a better chance than anyone.

Um, he's right. I suggest this fan base stop sipping the kool aid of this team.

They can be beaten in the playoffs.

of course they can be beaten, and the odds are obviously against any individual team from winning the cup. who said otherwise? i was more laughing at the stupidity of complaining about a 34-6-5 team's chances because the pp isn't great.

literally every single post you and that other guy make in this thread is to trash the team. they're wrapping up one of the best regular seasons of all-time and all the peripherals back up the fact that they're a tremendous team. i don't know what you get out of sports.

Ya every single post! Give me a break. And maybe the regular season makes you do back flips but most hockey fans understand the regular season means very little come playoff time. Talented grinder styled teams scare me and Crow doesn't instill much confidence though I think he did ok tonight.
