Tiger is winning again and making it look easy. Just like the old Tiger. Kill the par fives, make a couple of putts, shoot 4-5 under. Ho hum.

He's not blowing up on holes with horribly errant shots. And most importantly, he's putting well again. The reports of Tiger's demise were seriously premature. Watch out.

I've never particularly liked Sergio, but I wouldn't be enjoying this so much if he hadn't run his mouth.

I was just gonna post that. Going the full tin cup. And that Lindmerth kid is unbelievable.

I thoroughly enjoyed the "[expletive] yeah" walking off the tee box at 18 from Tiger. He's baaaaaaaaack!

yeah sergio is such a lil bitch

and man, wins in 4/6 tournaments this year? if he hadn't hit that damn flag and triple-bogeyed we'd probably be talking about a tiger grand slam right now

Tiger could take down Snead's all time PGA win record this year. One driver all day. 280 yard 5 woods off the tee. Best putter on Tour. Not fair.

Not only that. He was hitting high, low, fade, draw, whatever he wanted to do really. It's just incredible. US Open should be fun to watch. I wonder if Tiger will even have a driver in his bag (if not, he could bring back that 2 iron that he was so awesome with back in the day).

he waffles on the 2 iron, swapping it in and out depending on the course and probably the weather (i think he almost always uses his 2 iron at the open championship, for example, where lower ball flight is desireable)

That's true although I don't think he used it much the past 2 yrs or so with those Nike 3/5 woods that he hit so well with. I was just saying the 2 iron because Merion is a short course (by PGA standards and just shy of 7,000 yds I believe after all the work they did for this years US Open) so it will be similar to Sawgrass and any courses for the Open Championship.

Merion will be interesting though. Check out the hole by hole yardage.

I retired my mp-32s 2-P in favor of rocketballz 4-P (and I never pull 4 iron). Best thing I ever did. Used to hit a low 2 off certain tees and now I hit a 19 degree about 50 yards deeper.

19.. 3/4 hybrid or 5 wood? My brother used to play MP- 32, but he changed to JPX- 825 pro this year and love them.

The 19 degree hybrid, loft equivalent to a 2 iron and I kept my old callaway GB2 3 and 5 woods and the r11 I added 3 years ago, Cleveland 56/60 and a never compromise flat stick. If I made any other upgrades to the bag I might switch to a gap wedge or add another hybrid. I liked the mizunos and I originally got them because I wanted to play a near-blade iron and work the ball on every shot. I'm smarter now and I just want to hit it high and far.

did you get the regular rbladez or the tour? either way, that's a pretty big space between your pw and your 56. also i would think you could get rid of the 5 wood, i did when i started using a 19 deg hybrid and haven't looked back

Tour. Ive never had anything between pw and 56. I can hit a ¾ pw about 100 yards with reasonable regularity and have only soft considered the gap club. I use 60 out of the greenside sand regardless of lie (just like my hero vijay singh) and primarily use the 56 from 60-90 and to pitch or chip from thicker grass. The gap club would serve the same purpose (id maybe get to take 2-3 more full swings per 5 rounds) but id have to develop the feel.

Nice. I have a 1 and 3 Titleist 909 hybrid. LOVE my 1 hybrid. Use it off the tee when there's a tight/narrow fairway or when it's really windy as I hit a very low flight with a slight draw.
