Those Pelicans unis posted above aren't official. Someone did them for a Uni Watch thing earlier this year.

The color scheme on the real ones will be navy, red and gold; beyond that, we're likely months from anything being decided, much less shown.

Navy and red? Awful.

Change all the white into gold as gold is the 3rd color in that scheme. Then you get the idea of what the color scheme would be.

So are the Knicks, to use a sulley term, godless chuckers? They're averaging 29.7 3-point attempts per game this year, over three more than second (Houston with 26.4) and over six more than third (Portland with 23.1). The NBA record for a team is 27.9, held by the 08-09 Knicks.

While looking up some of this, I noticed that in 2000-01, no team averaged 20 3-point attempts per game. This year, 12 teams are averaging at least 20 per game. This year, Chicago is bottom in the league with 12.2 per game, which is more than 10 teams in 00-01. Boston is taking the second-fewest 3-pointers, with 14.4 per game. That would have placed them 10th in 00-01. Teams aren't shooting any better this year (35.7% from three this year vs. 35.4% in 00-01), they're just shooting more often from beyond the arc.

Red and or blue are great sports colors. Which is why like 85% of sports teams use either or both in the color scheme.

I just like to see something different especially when a team is trying to re- market itself and its local culture essentially could hand it its color scheme. Missed opportunity.

Lakers are 1-10 when Kobe scores 30+

Which is kind of weird because he's shooting at quite a good percentage this year. It's not like he's having to chuck 40+ times to get there. I think he was something like 17/26 last night against Cleveland.

It points to the fact that he doesn't distribute the ball. With Nash out, there is no one to run the offense

It points to the fact they don't have someone to distribute the ball, I don't know/think it's entirely fair to blame their poor ball distributing on Kobe. Like I said if he was shooting 40ish times a night to get to 30 points I'd say he indeed has a distribution issue, but he's making a good enough percentage of his shots this year and he's not shooting a ton of shots. I'd say it also points to the fact that outside of Kobe they have nobody who can create a shot for themselves. Artest/Meeks/Jamison etc. are more catch and shoot guys/scrap a rebound and put it in and Dwight at least needs someone to dump it into him if not drive and draw his defender and pass it off to him.

A basket doesn't count for more if it's passed by Kobe beforehand. He was shooting well last night.

Kobe is a great scorer, however the situation he's in dictates that he must help the flow of the offense by swinging the ball around. Too often he chucks a shot in transition or just plainly wants to take over the game. The problem with that is that the entire team is not involved and people are standing around watching him go iso on somebody. There is little ball movement from that team.

no, but Dantoni basically said that "the ball starts in Kobe's hands and ends in Kobe's hands". He clearly thinks Kobe is doing too much.

It's also clear that Dantoni wants nothing to do with Gasol
