He's not taunting Kobe there. He was just way, way overemphasizing his motion of a blocking foul on the play (which was probably the wrong call to begin with). He was being typical Crawford last night and had already T'd up multiple people earlier in the game for arguing.

Crawford is an abomination to the game of basketball and the NBA. He should have been fired and banned from the league when he T'd up Dunacan and then threatened to fight him a few years ago.

Yup. This guy is a disgrace.

Is Rondo going to get a suspension for his shoving match last night? I was going to go to the Bucks/Celtics game Saturday night but the game is already lacking for stars, not sure I'll go if Rondo is out.

Call me crazy, but I don't think Stern should be telling Popovich how to run his team.

And the Spurs are three minutes from winning the game.

Garnett is so dirty

popovich is awesome and definitely has the right idea by thinking big picture with a veteran team. he should kindly invite stern to go [expletive] himself.

I remember a game where Pops did that and the Spurs lost by like 40 and were down 50 at one point at Portland.

And the league is clearly still trying to recover from the long lasting effects of that.....

Stern needs to go die already. I think it's more important one of the best 5 teams in the league, that is anchored by a bunch of aging/breaking down veterans, is completely healthy during the playoffs than it is they play all 82 regular season games. It was the 4th game in 5 nights for them on a Thursday night in November that the casual fan wasn't going to watch anyways because nobody really cares about the NBA until Christmas and there was an intriguing NFL game on.

The biggest issue I have Is that he only cares because it was the Heat vs the Spurs. If it was Portland vs Toronto he would not give two shits.

The backlash he is already getting is great.

Spurs fined $250,000.

Ridiculous.

It would have been even better if the Spurs won that game last night and Stern still did this.

The sad thing is that it's not even about that for Stern. As he said last night, he's mad that fans are buying tickets to see Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, etc and the Spurs send out their 2nd team. The fact that the Spurs were thought to have thrown the game is a just a secondary result.

How is this any different than teams resting stars at the end of the year when they are locked into playoff spots? His argument is this is November and the Spurs havent clinched anything, but where do you draw the line? It's stupid....Stern is meddling way too much.

I love how he pussed out when Gerlad Wallace got in his face. KG only fights midgets.

Fans in Miami are buying tickets to see Lebron & Wade anyways. The dude that covers the NBA for Yahoo (Wojnaroswki or however you spell it) claims Stern has hated the Spurs for years.

Most of the time when you hear a fan say "I could do (skill X in a sport) better than (player Y from that sport)", the guy is full of [expletive].

But I'm pretty sure with any practice whatsoever, I could shoot free throws better than Dwight Howard. It might not be much better, but I think I could at least hit 50%.

In one of the most exciting stories of the year, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports that the New Orleans Hornets are expected to change their name to the New Orleans Pelicans, possibly as soon as the 2013-14 NBA season.
