Why is the UC so bad?

GSWs crowd is going to make our crowd look like two Hasidic Jews [expletive] through a sheet.

It's a cavernous building and most of the lower levels on either sideline are filled with rich people who don't yell?

Chicago crowds in general kind of suck in terms of sustaining energy and noise. The only game I can think of off the top of my head that was an exception there was the 2010 NFC Championship.

Hawks crowds feel better in the same building, though.

Different season ticketholder base. Different kind of fanbase in general; the prawn sandwich brigade isn't as prevalent.

Agree with the prawn sandwich part, disagree with the rest of the OP, though.

It's too bad we're outmanned; I really would have liked to see a series with both teams at full strength (broken-ass Wade included in that). It would have been entertaining.

Grasping at straws to say the least, but the extra day off here between games might be very useful. Go back to Miami 2-2 and then just take your chances from there.

Regardless of whatever else comes out of this playoff series, thank you to whoever posted this. It doesn't get old no matter how many times I look at it.

This was more enjoyable for me, but I also liked the LeBron reject by Robinson.

so Thibs got fined 35k for saying that the Bulls aren't going to get any calls.

if he's going to get fined for saying nothing, he might as well take a broom handle out onto the court and stick it up the refs' asses every time they make a bs call or slop lebron's nob. stern might be pissed but it would call to light the rampant cheating that happens in the NBA when it comes to the heat (of all teams!) for some reason.

What was Hinrich's injury reported as, a calf bruise? I hate to question the integrity of the highly regarded Bulls staff, but it sure sounds like alot worse that than. Far being it from them to misdiagnose/report an injury though...

I'm surprised by the timeline a bit, but those things can be nasty and tough to get rid of because everything you do basketball wise puts a strain on the calf muscles. The sprinting, jumping, sharp cuts, if you're not 100%, you're pretty likely to re-injure it if you come back too soon.

From 4 days ago:

Kirk Hinrich is scheduled for a second MRI on his severely bruised left calf, two sources said.

The initial exam showed damage to muscle fibers, one source said, but the injury is failing to progress, so a second test will determine if a tear has developed.

the refs are going to get this game turned off here real quick if they continue to insist on not giving us any calls.

They probably won't shoot 26% the whole game but they need to keep taking the ball to the hoop and try and chip the lead down from the line
