Great game in Dallas. Bears on the road again for their last game before the BYE week. This has no business being an even remotely interesting game.

I'd sit both Forte and Bush. Sorry Blaine, but Peppers sacks you 3 times this week. Doesn't matter what the spread is, I'm running with the Bears this week.

 

They have 14 days off after Sunday, they'll be OK. The Jags aren't that bad where you can sit 2 of your best players and expect a blowout. Just limit their touches just like tonight, let Jay beat them.

Jacksonville has a pretty good defense and sometimes is able to play good teams tough. I'm not saying the Bears won't have an easy victory but stranger things have happened then this team coming out flat after an emotional MNF game on a short week on the road against a team easy to overlook and a relaxing bye week staring at them.

is it just me, or is major wright becoming a pretty good safety in the NFL?

 

He's gotten better. But health has always been his biggest issue. This might be his longest healthy stretch. I'd like to see him healthy for a whole season before i get too excited.

 

Two of his picks this year have been on tipped passes, which count just the same, but still.

It was -4 prior to the Cowboys game. Given the swing from expected outcome in that game I'd expect a change.

 

It does seem to me like a major trap game. They got through the first quarter 3-1. On the road in a dead atmosphere stadium playing late afternoon. There's always a chance of really sloppy weather.

Yeah, I have to imagine that went into setting a fairly low line in the first place.

Call me a square all day but I would (and will, as I'll be in Vegas this weekend) bet the Bears -4 this weekend with as much confidence as I'd have on just about any bet.
