holy stuff

With 33 games left, the 100 L prophecy will be a difficult to fulfill, but I'm confident in this team's lack of ability. With 6 vs. the Astros, 3 vs. the Rockies, and 3 vs. the D Backs, and all above .500 teams the rest of the way( Cards, Pirates, Reds, Giants, Nats), we can do it.

Brewers kind of bailed out Castro on that triple

would have liked to see Jackson against Marcum, he's been really strong against changeups

edit: nevermind the jesus is in left so i am content

I guess we'll have a weighted competition next year between Wood, Rusin, and Raley for one rotation spot, unless we move Wood in a deal that helps us upgrade something.

how did Vitters not score on that?

No kidding; they would to have had thrown a perfect bullet to nail him at the plate and he was already a good 10-15 feet past the bag when Aoki was just getting the ball in his hand.

So Castro's now walked 11 times this month (Len said the most he's walked in a month before this one is 6), and his OBP was back up to .310 going in to this last PA.

recall, he had 6 BB in his first 72 games (312 PA)

Very, very happy with what we're seeing from him now.

Also, his O-swing % for August just went below the league average. That would be the first time in his career that is the case.
